 THE PARISH COUNCILLORS ARE SUMMONED TO THE MEETING OF LITTLE GADDESDEN
PARISH COUNCIL WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE on MONDAY 20th MARCH 2017
at 8.00pm IN THE VILLAGE HALL

ALL MEMBERS OF THE PARISH AND PRESS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND

Agenda

1. FORMALITIES
(i) To receive and accept apologies for absence and signing of the Attendance Book
(ii) Declarations of interest and dispensations
To receive declarations of interest from Councillors on items on the agenda
To receive written requests for dispensations for declarable interests
To grant any requests for dispensations as appropriate
(iii) Minutes. To confirm as a true and accurate record the minutes of Little Gaddesden Parish Council meeting held on 20th February 2017

2. OPEN SESSION FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC
The Parish Council welcomes attendance of the public. Anyone who wishes to speak will be invited to do so at the beginning of the meeting in accordance with the policy on ‘Public Participation at Parish Meetings’ (available on the web site). Please could members of the public contributing to this section identify themselves to the Chairman.

3. REPORTS and MATTERS ARISING


(a) To receive a report from Hertfordshire Constabulary – PCSO if attending, otherwise Clerk


(b) To report on the Co-Option procedure to fill the Casual Vacancy – Cllr. Archer


(c) To approve the Code of Conduct document - Clerk


(d) To consider adoption of the Training and Development Policy - Clerk


(e) To report back on the meeting held with Dacorum Planners on 9th March - Cllr. Kelly

(f) To agree how to progress projects identified through the Village Survey - Cllr Archer,

Marion Alford Memorial & Cromer Close Play equipment – Cllr. Archer


(g) To receive an update on the proposed Weight ban on the A4146 at Water End – Cllr. Hyde


(h) To receive an update on the Ringshall flooding issue – Clerk


(i) To report back regarding the Electrical supply to the Green – Clerk/Cllr. Kelly


(j) To agree next steps on the verge opposite the shop – Clerk


(k) To receive an update on superfast broadband – Cllr. Archer


(l) To confirm arrangements for correspondence with the National Trust – Cllr. Archer


(m) To receive a report on Planning Enforcement actions – Cllr. Townsend


(n) To receive a report on hire of the Church Road Car Park by Left Bank Pictures – Clerk


(o) To receive notice of the Parish Paths Partnership – Cllr. Townsend

4. ADMINISTRATION
(i) Correspondence - To receive a summary of any correspondence not already covered in the agenda
(ii) Finance –
a) To approve the schedule of payments and sign cheques accordingly
b) To approve a report on expenditure (April 1st 2016 to end of February 2017)
(iii) Planning – To note Parish Council responses given to date and outstanding responses required on the Planning schedule (to be presented at the meeting).


5. Councillor update / agenda items for next meeting - Items raised are for discussion only, no resolutions can be made on items that did not form part of the agenda but new matters can by agreement of the Council be added to the agenda of the next Parish meeting

Clerk & Village Hall Manager – Salary & PAYE for March
Trading Limited – £220 plus vat – Warden Services (March invoice)
MWAgri – £465.50 plus vat Contract payment for March
Clerk – Petty cash – £106.64 Dog bags and stationery
Summit Roofing Ltd – Village Hall repairs £495 plus vat
b. Cheques/payments received
LGVH Management Committee - Village Hall Manager salary
