OF LITTLE GADDESDEN PARISH COUNCIL WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE VILLAGE HALL
on MONDAY 19th JUNE 2017 at 8.00pm
ALL MEMBERS OF THE PARISH AND PRESS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND
Agenda
FORMALITIES

(i) To welcome our new Councillor, acceptance of office, registration of interests
(ii) To receive and accept apologies for absence and signing of the Attendance Book
(iii) Declarations of interest and dispensations
To receive declarations of interest from Councillors on items on the agenda
To receive written requests for dispensations for declarable interests
To grant any requests for dispensations as appropriate
(iv) Minutes. To confirm as a true and accurate record the minutes of Little Gaddesden Parish Council meeting held on 15th May 2017

2. OPEN SESSION FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC
The Parish Council welcomes attendance of the public. Anyone who wishes to speak will be invited to do so at the beginning of the meeting in accordance with the policy on ‘Public Participation at Parish Meetings’ (available on the web site). Please could members of the public contributing to this section identify themselves to the Chairman.

3. REPORTS and MATTERS ARISING


(a) To receive a report from Hertfordshire Constabulary – PCSO if attending, otherwise Clerk


(b) To agree how to progress projects identified through the Village Survey - Cllr Archer
Marion Alford Memorial
Cromer Close Play equipment
Village Hall


(c.) To report back regarding the funding of the Electrical supply to the Green – Clerk


(d) To confirm completion of the landscaping works opposite the shop (except for the planting of Holly in November) and agree maintenance requirements – Clerk

(e) To agree Councillor responsibilities – Cllr. Archer

(f) To discuss the impact of the road surfacing / threat of flooding – Cllr. Irving

(g) To agree the actions to be undertaken as a result of the ROSPA report – Cllr. Kelly

(h) To note that the school sports day track grid has damaged the grass – Cllr. Archer

(i) To note damage to one of the boreholes and to consider additional measures to reduce the risk of flooding in Ringshall – Clerk/Cllr. Douris

(j) HAPTC Community Engagement Seminar - Cllr. Archer


4. ADMINISTRATION

(i) Correspondence - To receive a summary of any correspondence not already covered in the agenda

(ii) Finance –
a) To approve the schedule of payments and sign cheques accordingly
b) To approve a report on expenditure (April 1st 2017 to end of May 2017)
(iii) Planning – To note Parish Council responses given to date and outstanding responses required on the Planning schedule (to be presented at the meeting).

5. Councillor update / agenda items for next meeting - Items raised are for discussion only, no resolutions can be made on items that did not form part of the agenda but new matters can by agreement of the Council be added to the agenda of the next Parish meeting

Sports Club – Hire of the Pavilion in May £25, no vat
Hemel Copy Print (2017) £82.97, no vat
Andrew Farrow, Internal Auditor fee £250 no vat
Playsafety Ltd £154 plus vat Playground Inspections
Daniel Bunting Tree felling and landscaping £1,495 plus vat

b. Cheques/payments received
LGVH Management Committee - Village Hall Manager salary

c. Internal Audit outcome, external audit sign off.
