Friday 10 March – The Friends Friday Night Folk Club, 7pm,Village Hall

The Little Gaddesden Folk Club is THIS EVENING and we are very excited to have The Wilderness Yet playing at our village hall!

If you haven’t yet bought tickets and would like to pay upon entry, please email your name to thelgfolkclub@icloud.com as there are a limited number of walk-in’s available, and we will reserve your ticket.

Alongside our lovely licensed bar, with both Tring Brewery delights & non-alcoholic options, we will be serving charcuterie sharing platters for 2 (both meat & vegetarian options available) for only £12.

We very much look forward to seeing you there, having a wonderful evening of superb musicianship and raising some money for our village school at the same time!

Saturday 18 March – Councillor Terry Douris at the Bridgewater Arms, 10am to 10.30am

Terry Douris, Dacorum and Hertfordshire County Councillor, will be at the Bridgewater Arms from 10.00am to 10.30am should you have any local issues you wish to discuss with him.


Thursday 23 March  Gaddesden Society Talk, Village Hall 8.15pm

Roger Bolton – ‘Before Modern Ideas’

For his latest book, Roger has delved into the Diary and Annals of Little Gaddesden, kept by the rectors between 1870 and 1935. Join us to hear fascinating insights into this time of great change in the area.

Everyone welcome – £1 entry fee includes wine and cheese


Saturday 1 April – LG Local Produce Market, Village Hall, 9am to midday

Come along to the Little Gaddesden Local Produce Market – please note the new opening time of 9am (closing at midday). A great variety of stalls including jams and preserves, candles, cards, plants, bric a brac, cakes and bakes, including bargain breakfast baps and a cuppa for just £3.50.

Free entry and a very warm welcome.


Sunday 21 May – The Gaddesden Gallop, 11am start from the Sports Field

Save the date for the Gaddesden Gallop fun run through Ashridge. 5k or 10km. All welcome. Further entry details to follow.


VPA Store

The VPA Store, located next to the Village Hall, will be open on Sundays 10am til 12 noon for all your gardening needs such as potting compost, seeds, garden twine etc.
