Transport to hospitals, clinics and surgeries for non-driving villagers

What it is…and isn’t

The Gaddesden Society runs a voluntary Medical Driving Service for non-driving villagers needing free transport to hospitals, clinics and surgeries for pre-arranged appointments.

The Medical Driving Service is not an emergency service. In a medical emergency please dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.

To use the Service, please contact the Medical Driving Organiser.

Unfortunately, because our list of drivers is rather small at the moment, we can’t currently offer lifts for visitors to see friends or family members in hospital.

Care to volunteer?

More volunteer drivers would be very welcome. If you’d be willing to join the drivers’ pool, please contact the Medical Driving Organiser.
