Little Gaddesden Brownies

Brownies is about trying new things that teach girls aged 7 to 10 about themselves, their community and their world. It introduces girls to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun.

Girls go along to camps, holidays, day trips and sleepovers. They get together with their friends at regular meetings where they learn new hobbies, get creative, develop skills and have outdoor adventures.

As well as trying activities in their meetings, girls choose from interest badges related to things they want to know more about.

Our very enthusiastic pack of Brownies in Little Gaddesden meet weekly, during term time, at the Village Hall and can often be spotted around the village, on the village green/playing field or up at Ashridge.

Of course, without volunteers we can’t run the unit so if you’d like to ‘give something back’ please do get in touch – not only is it very rewarding, it’s great fun too! You wouldn’t necessarily have to help each week as there are also roles like Administrator and Treasurer which take up just a few hours each month. There’s something for everyone!

If you are interested in finding out more about volunteering please contact Jo and if you want to register your daughter with us please follow this link: Register your Daughter.
