Village Notices for 12th June 2022

Tuesday 14th June – Gaddesden Society AGM and talk – Village Hall, 8.15pm

Shortly after the recent, wonderful Platinum Jubilee celebrations for the Queen, we are pleased to welcome our speaker, Sally Osman LVO, a former Director of Royal Communications at Buckingham Palace who will share an insight of the public role, duties, relevance, and value of a monarchy in the UK and around the Commonwealth.  Sally’s presentation will follow a very brief AGM of the Gaddesden Society.

Everyone welcome – Admission £1 including wine and cheese.

Village Notices for 9th June 2022

Saturday 11th June – Village Produce Market, Village Hall – 9.30am to 12.30


Sunday 12th June – Rural Heritage Walk – 3pm from Cromer Close

Tim Cooper will lead a Rural Heritage Society walk on Sunday, 12 June, starting at 3pm from the post box at the end of Cromer Close.  Parking is available in the Cromer Close layby or in Tim’s front drive.  The walk will continue via Nobody’s Bottom, Nettleden, St Margaret’s, Hudnall Common and back to Cromer Close via Home Farm.

Everyone welcome, members or non-members, including well-behaved dogs.   The weather forecast is good!
